About the Club
We are a sports club dedicated to Tug of War — a discipline with a rich history that was part of the Olympic Games until 1920.
→Tug of War was an Olympic sport from 1900 to 1920. Today it is governed by the international federation TWIF, with competitive teams across Europe. Our club represents Rakovník on the international stage.

New youth squad
Tug of war for kids
We're starting a youth squad in Rakovník and looking for children who want to give it a go. Two of our coaches earned their tug of war coaching licence this year, so the kids will be led by people who genuinely know the sport. It's a team sport where being the biggest isn't the point — technique, timing and pulling on the same rope as everyone else are.
