Men 700 kg — Netherlands

An international tournament in the heaviest men's weight category, 700 kg, in the Netherlands opens the Rakovník club's outdoor season. Club teams from across Europe travel here, and the event traditionally attracts strong British, Irish, and Dutch competition.

The competition is held on grass, which means a faster transition under the foot and a focus on technique in the opening seconds of each pull. The tournament runs under the international federation TWIF and is part of the European tug of war calendar.

For our team, this tournament is a first real test after spring preparation and a curtain-raiser to July's European Championship in Sweden. Updates will be posted in the news section.
